The Nike Air Force Ones were first released in 1982. The Air Force Ones have been recognized since their initial release in the early 80s, 1982 to be exact. Famous for their simple and clean look, the urban/hip hop crowd started wearing them early. Famous Rapper, Nelly, even recorded a song titled "Air Force Ones" about them (as well as many other famous and no-name rappers).
